Reading Counts!
To find out what books are available, click on the Reading Counts List link on the navigation bar to the left. Be sure to switch Lexile to Reading Level. Your child should be choosing books that are a 3.0 - 3.9 reading level.
The total monthly grade is a small portion of the reading grade and is a combination of effort and comprehension.
Students earn a monthly effort grade:
3+ books = A
2 books = B
1 book = C
Students earn a monthly comprehension grade:
90-100% = A
80-89% = B
70-79% = C
Monthly Deadlines are posted on the homework link.
