Just in from the ARI: This is a final announcement that the deadline for our Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest is coming up fast on 9/17/2008! High school seniors and all levels of college students are eligible. It is obviously quite early in the school year and not enough time for someone to start reading the novel and to write an essay – but just in case you have read the novel already. Some reminders about the contest: Complete details can be found at www.aynrand.org/contests. 49 Cash Prizes in total. Top Prize of $10,000! We receive fewer essays to this contest than the others, so the chances of winning a cash prize are greater than those in the high school contests. The contest is annual, which means your students will have a chance to participate this year and every year after that they are enrolled in at least one college course.
