Houghton Mifflin Reading Series activities **NEW** 2/08

H.M. Comprehension Tests:

For all you teachers out there that use Houghton Mifflin, below are already created tests that you can use after your class reads each story.  My 2nd grade team created these.  I use these on Fridays- they are all comprehension tests.  One of my colleagues uses them on Mondays right after he reads and introduces the story. ( More like the way a state test would be - a quick read and then comp. questions ).  It's totally up to you how and when you choose to give them.  These are in state testing format to get the kids ready for the look of the format ( multiple choice ).  They can also be used as part of your comprehension score on your report card.  Enjoy!!  :0)

**2010 update**  I get several emails asking about the missing tests...we either don't have them or only in hard copy.  Also I'm moving to first grade so I won't be using them anymore -- but I will keep them on here for you teachers. :o)
