Reading Class

In Reading class we will cover the stories below.  Click on the name of a story and find out what the story is about, the genre, the skill we are working on with links to practice, the Spelling list, and where to build background or extend your learning.

Our Reading class will also be involved in book projects.  Sometimes we will complete simple book reports and at other times we will add to the Read and Respond Wiki.  Click below to go to these areas.

Look What We Have Been Up To

Students read a book of their choice and created a cereal box about their book.

In class students determined the cause and effect relationships in given illustrations.  When they were done they practiced their cause and effect skills in reading text.
