Albany Field Trip
All the fourth graders were treated to a special ride on the Aquaduck. We got up close & personal with the Half Moon replica, and other ships docked at the port for the Quadricentenniel (400th anniversary) of Henry Hudson's voyage. We even had Captain Hudson narrate our ride! We also learned about the Dutch settlers of Albany by acting in a play re-enacting the trading roots of our New York ancestors. We concluded our trip with lunch at the Corning Preserve.
