Journey North Butterfly Project Start-up We had a special visit from the butterfly lady, Carol Margolis. She read to us about the migration of the monarch butterfly. She shared with us maps, butterfly "hut", a stuffed monarch butterfly, a butterfly net and books to read. We tagged 3 butterflies and released them outside to begin their journey to Mexico! We will be tracking them on the internet, learning about their life cycle, their migration and return in the spring. It's an exciting project for us!
