My spelling list comes from an old spelling book our school district used for years.  I like it because of the different phonics it teaches.  Each sixth unit is a review unit and I took the words missed the most and added them to it.  We don't do spelling grades, but can add it to the language if we need another grade.  We do different activities with the words.  On Monday & Tuesday they write them three times each.  On Wednesday they write them in ABC order.  On Thursday is a practice test and if they make a 100 on it they can bring a small toy to play with on Friday.  Then Friday the others take the final test.  My students study really hard on Wednesday night so they can play while the others take the test.  Joanne
