Feel free to post a blog with any questions you may have!This year, LRES decided to implement the John Collins Writing Program. Luckily, it has worked successfully in our classroom! There are actually 5 "types" but type 1 and type 2 are used the most.<br><br><br>Type 1<br><br>- Type one questions are just to get students thinking about an idea- these responses are a simple brainstorm.<br>-Students are not graded on their responses but are given a check mark with a plus or a minus for great effort<br><br><br>Type 2<br><br>- Type two writing counts as a quiz. Students are asked this question on curriculum material taught from the day before or even earlier. The question is usually a concept I go over a great deal. This is a quick way of assessing their knowledge on the topic. <br><br>- These responses are graded like a quiz.<br><br>Please let me know if you have any more questions!!<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; What do you hope to learn in fourth grade??????<br>I have noticed that some of my fifth graders are still enjoying this website!
