Writing!
New last year, Lamprey River Elementary School adopted the John Collins Writing Program. This program focuses mostly on informal writing, rather than formal writing. There are 5 types of writing that we will be learning and practicing frequently. We will be using this program throughout the curriculum (most definitely in Math!) More information to come, so stay posted!!!

"My Secret Specialty" - personal narrative
"An E-mail to a Friend" - personal narrative
"My Halloween Monster Madness" - descriptive essay
and are currently working on our persuasive piece. We are taking the role of the Thanksgiving Turkey, and persuading our audience why not to eat us for Thanksgiving dinner!
