Holy Homework!

Just kidding :) Homework will be light and manageable!

I do believe in giving homework EVERY night rather than giving out a packet for the week. Therefore, all homework assigned will be due the very next day. There is one exception which will be our Spelling Contract. Spelling Contracts will be assigned every Monday, and to be completed and turned in no later than Friday. (Early contracts may be allowed to be turned in).

homework not completed will be done during your child's recess time.

I also believe in assigning mathematics homework every night as well. Your child will come home with a Studylink sheet. This sheet, once turned in gives me an idea of how much material your child was able to retain from that day's lesson. PLEASE try and have your child complete this independently. However, if your child is struggling, feel free to help out, and write your initials in the top right hand corner of their paper :) .

***no child in my class is to come home stressed out about homework. If your child is struggling, please write a short note in their assignment book and they will be excused from the assignment, giving me more time for individual instruction***
