American Literature

This class will focus on reading classical and modern American Literature and writing. There will be in class reading and writing assignments each week. If these assignments are not completed in class, they must be completed for homework and turned in the next day. You may check out a textbook at anytime if you fall behind in your in class assignments.

Vocabulary assignments will be given most weeks during the school year. Vocabulary notes will be taken on Monday, 3-column notes consisting of the word/part of speech, definition and complete sentence using the word correctly will be due on Friday, and a quiz will be given on Friday. These words can be found on my website each Monday after they have been given.
