Mrs. Cox's Website!  Welcome! Please email me at coxm@smswaterford.org. Do not use the envelope icon to email me. Thank you! Due to the sickness and the unusual number of absences, I have not returned graded tests. I will return the graded tests when all students have taken them. If you are absent, please check the website for work you have missed. If your child is sick, please keep them home until they are fever free for 24 hours withOUT fever reducing medication. Also, please keep your child home if they have vomitted within 24 hours! I hope everyone feels better soon. Bake sale is cancelled due to illnesses. Your children have voted for their class trip and have decided to go to......... Six Flags, New England! Fundraising info. to follow. Grades 7 & 8 will be responsible for bringing in a current event article every Friday! They need to write at least 5 sentences describing what the article is about and what it means to them. Students may not bring in pop culture or sports' articles. This will count as a quiz grade each Friday! ABSENT STUDENTS: All missed work can be obtained through the homework/classwork section of this website. If certain books are needed, please inform the office when you call your child in sick. Please do not forget to call the office if your child will not be in school. Grades 6-8: There is a high school Global Regents Review site for my sixth graders who want a challenge. Try it and see how you do! I also posted some matching games for the 7th & 8th grade to review social studies. I can be emailed at coxm@smswaterford.org and will respond as soon as possible. Grade 6,7,& 8 Social Studies Test/Projects- 50% Quizzes-20% Homework-20% Participation-10% Grade 6,7,& 8 Religion Tests 50% Participation in class, Mass, & prayer- 25% Homework-20% 5 hours per quarter of community service-5%
