 Mrs. Cox's Website!  Welcome!  Congratulations Class of 2009! I will miss all of you!  We will be going to "Pool Day" on Tuesday, June 23rd.  If your child did not bring home a permission slip, you may download one at the bottom of this page.  Students should wear their gym clothes to school, bring a bag lunch, towel, money for snacks, ONE DOLLAR for admission into the pool, and bathing suit in their bookbags.  Grade 6 will be making a Mexican Fiesta Basket for the Golf Tournament.  Please feel free to donate either a basket item or $4.00 toward the purchase of "Fiesta Items".  Thank you for the support!  The weather is getting nicer, but don't forget we're still in school.  We have one quarter left and exams are coming in June. Here is the exam schedule for Middle School:

Grade 7 Reading Extra Credit: One test grade will be substituted with a 100% if this is done.  Please read the assigned book (students have been given a book), 5-7 sentence character descriptions for 5 characters, plot (beginning, middle, and ending) description (3 paragraphs at least), and description of your favorite part of the book (1 paragraph).  DUE MONDAY, June 15, 2009!

Grades 6-8:  There is a high school Global Regents Review site for my sixth graders who want a challenge.  Try it and see how you do!  I also posted some matching games for the 7th & 8th grade to review social studies.                                         

GRADE 6 GYM DAYS ARE MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY! Please wear your gym uniforms!  Be sure to check the website for homework and missed work if you're absent.  If you have any questions or concerns,  I can be emailed at coxm@smswaterford.org and will respond as soon as possible.
