Computer Checklist for Teachers
At least once a month please perform these procedures on your computers to enhance their performance and return this checklist to me with the date the procedures were performed. (This frees up space on your C drive for your use.)

___ 1. Disk cleanup:
Click on start, programs, accessories, system tools, and disk clean up. Then click on each one and read the description. Do not clean up the Office set up files.
___ 2. To defrag: Click on start, programs, accessories, system tools, and
disk defragmenter. Then click on analyze. If it says you would
Benefit from defragmenter then click defrag now, if not just close the
program.
___ 3. Update Windows:
Open the Internet. Then go to the menu bar and click on tools, and wwindows update option. Click on Express and if there are updates to update. It may take a few minutes to update. It will tell you how many updates there are, please indicate the number on the lines below.
